During the year 2006 LIGLASS, Inc. concerned itself with the import of solar panels. The motivation for this was the growing trend in the support of renewable resources not only in the Czech Republic but also all around Europe. In the year 2007 LIGLASS opened its branch in China. LIGLASS chose to cooperate with the company CEEG Solar & Science Technology from Sanghai in the year 2008 because of their strong background.

The first complete delivery of panels from CEEG SST and their instalment was realized in south Bohemia. The power station in Rodvinov with a total output of 1,478 MWp was activated in autumn 2008. LIGLASS, Inc. and LIGLASS TRADING, Ltd.   participated in 13 instalments of photovoltaic power stations with a total power output of 44.6 MWp by the end of the year 2010.

In the first years the focus was mainly on the Czech market but with potential legislative changes affecting the purchase of solar energy (2010) the attention was moved into the markets of European countries including Slovakia, Italy, and Great Britain.

Another plan in the Czech market is dependent on the progress of the access to roof instalments with the maximum power output of 30 kWp. After the moratorium on these instalments we will be ready to offer retail investors complete customer service including assembly.
